Terms of use

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms cover the Guardian Star app, its server, and Guardian Star Plus's texts and calls. The app is also licensed to you under Apple's standard license agreement. Using Guardian Star means you agree to them.

Not an emergency service

Guardian Star is a daily check-in. It can't detect falls or emergencies, doesn't contact emergency services, and depends on phones, networks and services that can fail or be late. Don't rely on it alone for anyone's safety. If someone may be in danger, call 911.

Guardian Star Plus

Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, bought in the App Store and paid with your Apple Account. It renews unless you turn it off at least a day before the end of the period, in your iPhone's Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.
